SALAM PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES PLT

Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the domain registration service provided by SALAM PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES PLT ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Your account

Give complete and accurate details and keep them current. Registry rules require correct registrant data, and false or stale details are grounds for suspension of a domain. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including keeping your password and two-factor device secure.

2. Domain registrations

We register domains on your instruction with the registry that operates the top-level domain. Registration, renewal, and transfer are subject to that registry's policies, which override anything here that conflicts with them.

An order is a request, not a guarantee. A domain becomes yours only when the registry confirms the registration. A name can be taken by someone else between your availability check and our order. Where that happens we refund the amount charged for that name in full.

You are the registrant. We do not acquire ownership of your domains and do not transfer them without your instruction, except where a registry, court, or dispute resolution provider directs us to.

3. .my domains

Domains under .my are administered by MYNIC and subject to MYNIC policy, which sets who may hold each second level and what documents are required. Restricted levels such as .com.my, .org.my, and .edu.my each carry their own eligibility rules.

Where a registry asks for proof of eligibility, supply it within the period the registry allows. A registration refused or revoked because the documents were not supplied, or not accepted, is not refundable — the registry fee has already been paid.

4. Renewals and expiry

Domains are registered for a fixed term and stop resolving when the term ends. We send renewal notices to the email address on your account, but the responsibility to renew is yours. Keep a working address on file.

After expiry a domain enters the redemption cycle set by its registry. Restoring it costs considerably more than a renewal, because the registry charges a restore fee that we pass on at cost. Once the registry deletes the name, we cannot recover it for you.

Renewal prices are the prices in force at the time of renewal. They are not fixed by the price you paid for the first term.

5. Promotional pricing

Where a promotion is marked as applying to the first period only, the discount covers the first year and the remaining years of that order are charged at the standard price. Otherwise it applies to every year of the order. Renewals after a promotional term are charged at the standard renewal price. What you will be charged is shown in full at checkout before you pay.

6. Fees, tax, and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the currency stated there. Sales and service tax is shown separately and charged in addition where it applies.

Payment is due before we submit an order. Instant methods are submitted within minutes; a transfer or cheque only after the funds clear. Where a payment is reversed or charged back after a domain has been registered, we may suspend the domain until the balance is settled.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use a domain registered through us to send unsolicited bulk email, distribute malware, run phishing or other fraud, infringe another party's trade mark, or break the law. We may suspend a domain or account we reasonably believe is being used this way. No refund is due for a service terminated under this section.

8. Disputes over a name

Registering a name does not settle who is entitled to it. Domains are subject to their registry's dispute policy — the UDRP for gTLDs, MYNIC's policy for .my. We comply with decisions under those policies and with court orders. We are not a party to your dispute with a third party.

9. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected domain in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profit or for loss arising from a domain expiring or being suspended where the cause is your own act or omission.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms and will give notice before a material change takes effect. Questions go to
